Festival goers are encouraged to utilize the wonderful existing trail network that runs in and around Susanville!  Pat Murphy field is easily accessed off River Street, Alexander Street, and Riverside drive via the Susan River Parkway.

This paved trail runs East from Alexander Street to just past BLM headquarters on Riverside Drive.  Attendees are encouraged to find parking off-site and walk or bicycle this beautiful paved trail that meanders along the Susan River.  This trail was made possible by the City of Susanville and Lassen Land and Trails Trust.  Talk to Festival Gate staff for Handicap accessibility at the event or contact LLTT in advance for questions or assistance.

 

The Bizz Johnson National Recreation Trail runs directly west of downtown, and has some great campgrounds right on the trail!  Festival goers are encouraged to camp out & park and ride their bikes or hike to Bridgefest along the Bizz and then on to the Susan River Parkway. PRIMITIVE CAMPING IS ALLOWED ALONG THE BIZZ JOHNSON TRAIL ON BLM & USFS LAND.
